Select a category
It is important to select the correct category as it will ensure that the right people are looking at your ad.

Posting Title
Having a catchy title is a great way to stand out from the other ads. Try to keep it short and sweet whilst highlighting exactly what you are selling.

Posting Description
Do not be vague, include as many details as possible. This is the perfect place to state the benefits or the attractive qualities of your product, and why other Vivastreet users should purchase your product (or service).

Include a photo whenever possible
Vivastreet users can upload photos for free, so ensure that you do. As the saying goes, a picture tells a thousand words.

Modes of contact
Provide as many modes of contact as is conveniently possible. Methods such as email addresses, and landline/ mobile phone numbers will make sales transactions easier. However, do make sure that the proper security and safety precautions are taken.

Additional features
Upgrade to a premium ad. There are different types of upgrades available: ‘Featured’ ads which will place your advert on top of the regular ads and will be marked ‘Featured’ for exclusive and increased visibility or ‘Highlighted’ ads which highlight your ad for 30 days with a coloured background to make your advert stand out.

1. By selecting the automatic renewal feature, your classified ad plan will be renewed automatically on its expiration date – so you don’t have to worry about your classified ad plan expiring!
2. You will be automatically charged by your last selected classified ad plan and by using your last payment method. A separate invoice will be sent to you for confirmation every time your classified ad plan gets renewed. You will also be notified prior to any changes in prices of the selected plans.
3. You may cancel the automatic renewal feature at any time by following the instructions contained on the Vivastreet website and in your order confirmation email.

Due to the nature of these massages, from now on the posting will be possible only in the Erotic massages category in the 18+ section.

How does it work?

In Step 3 on the posting page you have 3 options:

1. Create an account
2. Use existing account
3. Post  without account

If you choose the last option – Post without account – all you need to do is enter a valid email address. Your email address will be used as the primary way to contact you. All Vivastreet notifications and communications will be sent only through your email account. Once you will create your ad you will receive an email Activate your Vivastreet Ad Now! – You will need to confirm your e-mail address so that we can begin processing your ad.

With our new release we have introduced new Umbrella categories in Buy & Sell section, which group together sub-categories relevant to a certain products.

The acceptable formats for our system are .doc, .pdf, .docx, .rtf and .odt.

When naming your files, please use simple filenames and avoid special characters and spaces. If you are a Macintosh user, you must also type the three-letter extension at the end of the file name you choose (e.g. .doc, .rtf, .pdf).

Once your ad is published, your CV will be easily accessible for recruiters and all employers.

Although an expanded resume is not required to complete your Job seekers ad for admission, we strongly encourage you to submit one. Think of it as your opportunity to provide employers with a complete picture of your activities, employment, education, community service and awards.

With our new release we have added a sharing Facebook icon on the detail page of your ad so you are always just a click away from sharing an ad with your friends on Facebook. The first time you share on the network, you’ll have to go through a Facebook login/registration page that will connect your Vivastreet account with your Facebook account. After that, sharing is just a simple click away. When you post an ad your friends will be able to see your ad (including any pictures you have uploaded) right in their news feed.

Of course you can still continue to use Visa or MasterCard when purchasing your featured ads on Vivastreet.

You can create an alert following the steps described below or you can sign in your Vivastreet account and manage your alerts from there.

1 – Check the “Create an alert” box in the search tool box and click on Search.

2- Now it’s time to select your criteria. In the first step select the category from the drop-down list and click “Next step”.

3 – In step 2 choose an area for your alert. If desired, limit your results to a particular city by entering city name and postcode.

4 – In step 3 you can specify your detail filters.

5 – In last step you can review your chosen criteria and edit them if you wish. Once you’re happy with the alert, enter your email address to which you wish to receive your alerts and you’re done.

The following are simple tricks and tips you can use to maximise your chances of successful posting and help you to achieve good results.

1. The most important part of your ad, as far as the viewers are concerned, is the title of your classified ad. Here are some examples of good headings for the best impact results:
   •    Smith, Wales Plumbing Services
   •    2004 Renault Clio for sale
   •    Looking for House to rent in East London
   •    Hiring waiters in London- barman opportunity
2. Write a precise and detailed description of your ad. Write about benefits of your products or services for ad viewers. However, give only enough information to catch customers’ interest: nobody wants to read six inches of tiny text.
3. Be sure to include images or pictures with your ad if you have them! Potential buyers like this. You know what they say; a picture is worth a thousand words. Also make sure that the size and dimensions of your image files are within our acceptable limits (2Mb).
4. To keep your ads fresh and on the top of the listing page, renew your ads every couple of days with reposting them regularly. You have to give ad viewers a chance to find the ad in order for them to respond to it. On Vivastreet we offer reposting every 5 days.
5. Do not spam by posting your ads in all categories. Make sure you post your ads in the right and relevant category.  It is more successful to post in fewer categories which are relevant rather than over-posting with thousand ads.  As an alternative, you can create different ad descriptions and ad titles in the most suitable category rather than duplicate where it does not count.

By using these simple techniques mentioned above, you should be able to minimize your online free advertising effort and increase responses to your ads.

Remember, your ad title and ad description should stand out with action, words and pictures.
